7 Chia Pudding Recipes

There are two things that will help you be successful when eating clean. One is consistency and the other is being able to enjoy rewarding treats. That's why I want to share with you these 7 delicious chia pudding recipes you can enjoy as a breakfast treat or anytime snack.

If you are not familiar with Chia seeds they are a tiny but mighty seed originally from South America, which they were later imported to Central America and the South West U.S.

One of the key factors that makes chia seeds such a healing plant is its high content of the essential fatty acid omega 3. This type of fat is crucial for good heart health, lowering bad cholesterol and reducing inflammation.

Chia seeds also contain high amount of fiber, antioxidants, protein, plus provide important vitamins and minerals like calcium, potassium and magnesium.

There are a few ways to use chia you can simply add a couple of tablespoons blended up with your smoothie for an extra nutritional boost. Of you add them whole into any drink. Using liquids such as coconut milk, almond milk or water.

When chia seeds are soaked in any liquid for at least 4 hours they start to release a gel like substance which makes them great for making pudding.

You can enjoy these puddings as side to dish to your breakfast scrambled eggs, or a midday snack, or even a dessert option after dinner...

When you try any of these chia pudding recipes I'm going to share with you, let them sit overnight before eating. You'll notice they are thicker and end up tasting better. At least to me they do.
