Breakfast is one the most important meals of the day. What you choose to eat can set off the your mood for the rest of day. That's why I want to share with you 7 clean eating breakfast recipes to ensure you start your day off on the right foot. 

The standard american diet breakfasts is the perfect meal to induce diabetes, foggy headedness and make you energy crash  early on in the day. You can thank the folks at the FDA for that...

We have been fooled into believing that we must eat a heavy starch breakfast start our day right. But unfortunately that has shown to not be true.

Plus consuming cereals (with artificial sweeteners), with a glass of orange juice, and a piece of sweet fruit gives you a huge spike insulin that also brings you sugar levels crashing down at about the same quick speed that it raised them.

And schools wonder why kids can't pay attention in class...That's because they are drunk off the sugars, then shortly after they crash. And now they're brain is hungry for oxygen and energy. In that state it's pretty difficult for anyone at any age to concentrate...

So the reason for my rant is that I want you to basically re-think your current breakfast scenario and you need to break it off with Aunt Jemima and Captain Crunch (or whatever cereal kids are eating these days)...

And switch over to some clean eating breakfast options like the one I am going to give you below.

But as a quick side note; If you wish to eat fruit in the mornings and your goals is to lose weight only consume berries, grapefruit or melon. These fruits have the least amount of sugar in them.

FYI...Our liver converts the sugar in fructose into fat...but if you must have a banana, eat it with plenty of greens like in this first recipe...

7 Clean Eating
Breakfast Recipes

1. Chocolate Green Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 Cup Spinach
1/2 Avocado
1 Tablespoon Almond Butter
1 Tablespoon Cacao Powder
1 Cup Distilled Water
*Optional- Add a scoop of your favorite protein powder

Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in blender and blend for 30-60 seconds.
2. Serve and enjoy!

2. Green Eggs​ + Ham (Bacon actually)

Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 handful of Spinach
2 Strips of Bacon​
2 teaspoons of Coconut Oil

Directions:
1. In a blender toss in the 2 eggs and spinach and blend. Side aside.
2. Heat up a skillet or small frying pan using 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. And cook the bacon. Remove from pan once cooked and let sit on paper towel while cooking eggs.
3. Heat up a skillet again add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and use the egg batter to make eggs either as an omelette or scrambled.
