Within the last few years we have seen a great rise in the internet radio world of podcasts. You can find every topic covered in the podcast world ranging from history, science, comedy, to the two main ones I’ll be covering today health and fitness. I've also added the best spiritual podcasts, because to really have optimum health we need to work on those areas too.
The amount of information you can learn in just one hour listening to some of these experts is quite amazing to say the least. Now I love to read, but I’ve been extremely busy the last few months. So checking out some of these popular podcast has definitely helped me stay on top of my health and fitness news.
Plus if your not a big reader then podcasts are especially a great. No longer do you have to sit and force yourself to read about the latest health trends or try to learn why everyone has started to eat like cavemen again.
Instead you can get your info via podcasts like I do while making breakfast, cleaning my house, doing cardio or just running errands. I've given you easy access links to all the podcasts I mention. Some have even made it even easier with their own podcast app. (Oh yeah, but you should make some time for keeping up with certain blogs too, ahem;)

Best Health Podcast
Led By Robb Wolf a New York Best-selling author of The Paleo Solution and has been the foremost leader in bringing awareness of the Paleo diet to the masses, while at the same time transforming the lives of hundreds of thousands of people through his podcast. Four years ago his podcast was part of my morning meal prepping routine, the amount of useful knowledge I received listening to his show was quite immense to say the least. He’s always delivering on some of my favorite subjects, nutrition (he was a former research biochemist), weight lifting/powerlifting (he was also a former California State Powerlifting Champion), and mma training. Modern paleo living with Diane Sanfilippo New York Times Best-Selling Author of Practical Paleo & Liz Wolfe also a Best-Selling author of Eat The Yolks. These two hosts break down the Paleo diet with a good sense of humor, wittiness, and plenty of knowledge. They give top notch advice whether its a common or complex Paleo question. They have also proven themselves be inspiring leaders in this caveman-esq low carb diet movement. Check out one of there most popular podcast here.
Brought to by Chris Kresser recently named one of the 100 most influential people in health and fitness. His podcast has been another one of my favorites for years now. I really appreciate his no agenda and no b.s approach to health, he isn’t trying to sell you on the latest health trend. He is just sincerely interest in teaching how to be healthy naturally and does a great job bringing together modern science and ancient healing modalities (He is a licensed Acupuncturist). He is also a New York time best seller of Your Personal Paleo Code. Take a listen to this great episode on “What Cause Hormone Imbalance”.

She is a functional nutritionist and chef, author of Women, Food & Desire, The Great American Detox Diet and Super Size Me co-creator. Coming from hippy parents and going thru her own journey she has found a way to share her embrace for spirituality from a non-dogmatic or new age vibe (which I can highly appreciate). If you've ever seen TEDTalks before you know that they give us nothing but pure jewels of knowledge and information in there shows. And how great is it that they have this podcast dedicated to health? The topics they cover are quite interesting, detailed, and varied to make sure they are giving something to everyone. Some of there episodes covers topics such as: “how childhood trauma effects health”, “why we laugh”, “what make us get sick” and much more. Ben Greenfield is one of the world’s most foremost in health and fitness. He covers cutting edge info from the top personal trainers and wellness coaches in the nation. He provides multi-sport research covering triathlons, weight lifting, Paleo, vegan, fat loss and tons of more. I recently purchased one of his books titled “The Low-Carb Athlete” (I'm not a huge fan of low carb dieting but I like to experiment on myself). He’s got a great episode on his podcast you where you can learn about “the advanced sleeping hacking tactics used by the worlds most elite athletes”.

with the one and only Tim Ferris. Life hacker extraordinaire. Author and best seller of The 4-Hour Workweek, The 4-Hour Body, and The 4-Hour Chef. His podcast is the #1 business podcast on all of iTunes. This is hands down my favorite podcast. He decodes world class performers in areas of sports, business, art, investing, marketing and tons more. A glimpse of some of his past guest include Tony Robbins, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Neil Strauss, Seth Rogen, Ramit Sethi and more. If you only have time to listen to one podcast in your life I highly suggest you subscribe to this one.
