Turmeric Health Benefits
The main factor that makes turmeric such a potent healer is its main bioactive compound called Curcumin. This compound has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a potent antioxidant. Research shows that the list of ailments and disease it helps is ever growing. (Here is a small list of over 5,000 published biomedical studies.)
While this is the key factor in making turmeric so potent, unfortunately it is poorly absorbed into the blood stream unless its in a liposomal form (meaning its transported in bi-layer of phosolipid or type or fat for simplicity sake) or accompanied by ginger or black pepper which increases its absorption by 2000%.
